Taking
design to production is equally crucial in realizing the goal of
creating new standards, no successful design can reach its full
potential without faithful transition to manufacturing. At the SUBZERO
audio evaluation facility, every engineering design is reproduced
with fastidious care and attention to detail. From the substrate
machining facility to final assembly and testing, each step is continuously
refined to ever higher standards that are the forefront of quality.

BANDPASS
When designed properly bandpass
enclosures have proven to exhibit
distinct advantages such as
improved slope characteristics,
improved pass band efficiency,
lower distortion, lower high pass
cutoffs, better subsonic stability
and lower cone excursion than
more conventional designs.
With the added bracing provided
by the inner structure vibrations
and losses are minimized.
VENTED
The
vented enclosure is characterized by an enclosure having an
open tunnel or port which allows the passage of air in and out
of the box. Properly aligned, the vent contributes substantially
to the low frequency output of the system. Sound waves resonate
in the vent, increasing the acoustical load on the back of the
cone. There by reducing driver excursion and also assisting
in control of the transient response.
SEALED
The
sealed or acoustic suspension design exhibits characteristics
such as great transient response as well as great low frequency
extension due to its shallow roll off on the bottom end, additionally
the vehicles interior size (relative to cubic feet) shelves
the lower frequencies upward, which, when the enclosure is properly
designed, enhances linearity, creating a flatter frequency response
